Using Meta's Spark AR software, I was able to create 3D augmented reality art with Instagram filters and overlay it on the actual paintings in the Tate Modern. I collaborated with graffiti artists in London and 3D modellers to help create some of the pieces. I then advertised the exhibition on Instagram as if it were officially part of the Tate Modern. The plan was to produce booklets with QR codes, allowing attendees to access the filters and share them on their Instagram stories.

Mini documentary

I then had the whole ordeal documented and hosted a pop-up in Shoreditch, premiering the mini-documentary to around 50 attendees. According to the data provided by Meta to Instagram filter creators, at least 500 people used my filters from the first day at the Tate Modern to the day of the pop-up in Shoreditch. As a result of this project, I have given a talk at UAL about my work and participated in numerous interviews regarding my experience at the Tate Modern.
